On December 29, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a first-phase (warning-significant) travel alert for the spread of the new coronavirus (Corona 19).

Recently, the number of people infected with Corona 19 in Japan has spread, considering that the public is concerned about exposure to infection.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said, "People who are staying in Japan should pay attention to personal safety, and those who are planning to travel in the region should pay attention to travel."

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs will continue to consider the necessity of adjusting the travel alerts, paying close attention to the occurrence of corona19 confirmed in Japan.

The government-run travel alerts consist of four stages: navy blue alert (travel intention), yellow alert (travel restraint), red alert (recommendation for withdrawal), and black alert (travel prohibited).

A three-stage red alert will be maintained within a 30km radius of the Fukushima nuclear power plant and the evacuation area designated by the Japanese government.

The Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare announced a total of 210 (four deaths) infected with Corona 19 in Japan at 12:00 on the 27th.

This figure excludes 705 cruise ship infected people (4 deaths) anchored at Yokohama Port.
