The Defense Ministry said today (28) Secretary of Defense Chung Kyung-Doo held an emergency main commander's meeting with burns shortly after returning to the United States and ordered "put all the resources into consideration at the present time."
Chung emphasized that before requesting other agencies, the military should first commit all available resources of our military, including medical and non-medical assistance, to the response to the spread of corona in Daegu and Gyeongbuk.
The Army provided 30,000 combat foods to Daegu to support the vulnerable in Daegu.
Military authorities will proactively identify and assist in the need for quarantine, even if local governments do not request it.
