Indonesian media: A young Finnish man drowned in a swimming pool in Bali


A Finnish tourist was found drowned in a swimming pool on Thursday morning at four local times in Bali, Indonesia, according to several local media.

An accommodation company employee had seen a man returning to his place with his Finnish friend earlier in the morning and spending time near the pool.

An employee and a friend of the man went to visit the kitchen, and after an hour the workers who came to find him found him in the pool. He was already dead when he was raised.

According to press reports, a 23-year-old surfing Finnish man was staying at Yeh Sumbul on the northwestern edge of Bali. The area is known for its great surfing facilities.

According to local police, the man showed no signs of violence and the cause of death proved to be drowning.
