It was at half past eleven on Thursday evening that SOS was alerted to a traffic accident on the E22 at between Norje and Pukavik in the municipality of Sölvesborg.
When the rescue service arrived at the scene, the driver of the car had been picked up by relatives and taken to the hospital in Kristianstad.
According to the Skåne region, there is a man in his 30s who is now being cared for in hospitals with serious injuries.
