In January, the popular band played at the entertainment venue in Blekinge. But two days before the concert, the owner found out that the police would not be able to clear his permit applications.

- I got that message on Thursday night, and two days later the event was. We counted 600-700 people in the audience, and there was no way for us to come out with the information that it was canceled, says the entertainment profile to SVT News Blekinge.

The entertainment profile submitted the permit documents earlier this week, but was nevertheless advised by the police not to conduct the event.

- We considered how we would do for a long time, but finally said that we have to drive. Otherwise we would have been full of goddamned people in our parking lot on Saturday, it would not have worked.

Risking jail

Now, the man is being prosecuted for a violation of the Ordinance Act, a crime that can result in fines or imprisonment for up to six months.

- We didn't think it could lead to such a crazy thing as a prosecution. We have had permits for several decades, and I submitted the permit at the same time last year, then it was no problem.

Three days after the concert, the conditions became clear, according to the owner.
