571 new outbreaks of new Coronavirus have been registered in the last 24 hours in South Korea, South Korean authorities announced on Friday.

In total, there are 2,337 HIV infections in the country, according to the Korean Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. And South Korea is the second country in the world in terms of the number of infections after mainland China (78,824 cases) where the virus first appeared in December.

For the second day in a row, Seoul has the highest number of new infections in the last 24 hours, in the world.

And continental China announced on Friday morning 327 new cases of the disease, the lowest daily toll of new infections recorded by China in more than a month.

In total, 2788 deaths were reported in mainland China and 13 in South Korea.
