“A few minutes ago, we received from the Lugar laboratory the results of analyzes according to which the first case of coronavirus infection was detected in the country,” RIA Novosti quoted Georgian Minister of Health Ekaterina Tikaradze as saying.
She noted that a Georgian citizen who arrived from Iran through Azerbaijan on February 25 was infected.
Earlier it was reported that Georgia imposed restrictions on air traffic with Iran due to the spread of coronavirus infection COVID-19.
