The figures come from SMHI's measuring stations and apply to December, January and February. As some days remain of February, some values may need to be adjusted.
In Hoburg, Gotland, the average temperature reached 4.4 degrees Celsius, which is 1.2 degrees higher than the previous record from 2008. Malmslätt outside Linköping also set a record. 3.2 degrees Celsius is 1.0 degree than the previous recruit. Here, too, was the last record from 2008.
In the country as a whole, the winter of 2019/2020 was mild during all three winter months. The meteorological spring came to Götaland as early as 15 February.
