According to an exclusive BVA-Orange poll for Europe 1, PS candidate Catherine Trautmann is credited with 17% of the voting intentions, behind the LREM (27%) and environmentalist (25%) lists. A place which gives the former mayor of Strasbourg the position of arbitrator for the second round.

There is certainly very little chance that the Socialist Party will remain in the town hall of Strasbourg. This does not make it in advance the big loser of the municipal coming to the prefecture of Bas-Rhin. The outgoing mayor not representing himself, it was Catherine Trautmann, herself a former city councilor from Strasbourg (between 1989 and 1997, then in 2000-2001) who took up the torch. And according to an exclusive BVA-Orange poll for Europe 1 published Thursday, it allows the PS to play an important role during the election.

According to this survey, the former Minister of Culture generates 17% of the voting intentions. This places her in third position, behind Alain Fontanel's LREM-UDI-MoDem-Agir list (27%) and that of the ecologist Jeanne Barseghian (25%). "So far, surveys have shown that the candidate Europe Ecologie-Les Vert was able to come out on top in the first round and appeared to be the favorite of this election", analysis for Europe 1 Adélaïde Zulfikarpasic, director BVA Opinion. "We can clearly see that the arrival of Trautmann is a little detrimental to the EELV list, since we would have two lists which come first in a pocket handkerchief"
