The woman, who is 55 years old according to police, drove on County Road 888 in the direction of Sunne and drove straight through the Holmby Crossing at the E45. The car drove up to a ridge of ground and flew at least 50 meters and landed on a field.

"She had high speed and went straight up in the air," says emergency response officer Jonny Persson.

The car landed on the wheels according to the rescue service who had to help get her out of the car. The woman was conscious on and off during the rescue work and was taken to hospital with ambulance helicopters with unclear injuries.

Work on the site was completed just over an hour after the alarm.
