There are at least 18 crimes committed in Kronogården in Trollhättan on December 8, 9 and 12. Several investigations have been closed, for example a case of abuse where a police officer received a bottle in the head.

The incidents are classified by the police as violent riots during all three days of the disturbances. Two preliminary investigations into violent riots are still ongoing, one has been closed.

“An extensive material”

- We have films from the police body cameras that we will go through. It is a comprehensive material. But most often we only see a masked person doing something and then running from there, says study leader Fredrik Brax.

According to the compilation produced by the police in Trollhättan at SVT's request, only one investigation has so far been submitted for prosecution. It concerns a man who has been spotted by a police officer and classified as an offense against an official.

Investigation is in place

One of the investigations is journalist and opinion maker Joakim Lamotte as the target owner and is therefore run by the Democracy and Hate Crime Group in Gothenburg. Nor has any perpetrator been prosecuted there, the investigation is ongoing. Exactly how the heading reads, the police do not want to state.

"No suspect has been heard yet, which is why we can't say anything about the case at this time, more than it is under investigation," preliminary investigator Andrea Hammar writes in an email to SVT.

Incidents and injuries

In December 2019, the police in Trollhättan also reported 21 incidents and injuries "of a very serious nature in the Kronogårds area". The police authorities' investigation of the attacks against their own personnel describes the conditions in the area as follows:

“For some years now, with some regularity, attacks against police and other blue-light personnel have occurred. It is done by rockets and rockets and so-called bangers. Those who attack do so in larger groups and with hoods and scarves for the faces, they are often difficult to identify even if there are footage from our body cameras. The attacks usually take place in the dark and from different directions by easily moving young people. "

- If we take any lead in drug sales, it's like ordering people to get started. It is sometimes also used as diversion maneuvers, we know this from scouting. You might have a drug delivery that should come in and then you want the police busy elsewhere, says Fredrik Brax.

The notifications of incidents and injuries have been sent to the Swedish Work Environment Authority.

Tonight at 20:00 the program "Sweden meets: Direct" will be broadcast from Trollhättan in SVT1 and on SVT Play. Participants in the live broadcast include Nyamko Sabuni (L), Joakim Lamotte and the police.
