Foreigners banned from the Republic of Korea, Daegu, Philippines February 26 19:31

The Philippine Ministry of Health announced on Tuesday that foreigners visiting the Philippines from Daegu and Gyeongsangbuk-do in southern South Korea will be banned from entering the country, saying that the spread of the new coronavirus is widespread.

For Filipinos, they will be admitted for two weeks but will be quarantined for two weeks.

Also, if you visit the Philippines from outside of these areas of Korea, you will be required to declare whether you have visited Taegu or Gyeongsangbuk-do within the past two weeks and give permission to enter the country individually.

In addition, Filipinos have been banned from traveling throughout Korea except for those who have permanent residence in Korea.

The Philippine government has stated that there may be areas where travel restrictions may be imposed depending on the situation.
