Welfare Minister Park Neung-hoo, who was present at the National Assembly today, says the opposition lawmakers have not banned foreigners from China.

Park's answer is this.

[Park Nung-hoo / Minister of Health and Welfare: The biggest cause was our Koreans from China.]

The opposition lawmakers protested aloud, but Park made this remark twice in a convincing manner.

[Pak Nung-hoo / Minister of Health and Welfare: From the very beginning, we are Korean. We Koreans from China. Our Koreans who had no fever and no cough went to China and brought in the source of infection.]

In the case of the 31-determination case before the community infection began in earnest, Park added, Koreans were more likely to be infected than Koreans in Korea.

The Unification Party, as well as the Justice Party, pinned it as "a rash remark that turns the blame on its victims.

There were more than 1,000 confirmed people, and it was criticized that it was inappropriate to mention the cause of the situation with only the first 30 confirmed cases.

Park also spoke of the Korean Medical Association, which recommended the ban on Chinese entry.

[Park, Ahn / Minister of Health and Welfare: The Institute of Infectious Diseases is much more authoritative, and the Institute of Infectious Diseases did not recommend entry into all of China.]

The Institute for Infectious Diseases issued a recommendation to the government on Monday that "restrictions on immigrants from hazardous areas are needed."

Park believes the announcement did not recommend a ban on full Chinese entry, which is another controversy.
