A 51-year-old man has killed a 43-year-old woman in Aznalcóllar (Seville) with a shotgun and subsequently committed suicide in the same weapon, sources close to the investigation have informed Efe.
The macho murder took place shortly before this midnight at the family home of the marriage, located in Pedro Gómez del Castillo street of the Sevillian municipality.
The author has shot his wife with his shotgun, killing him, and subsequently committed suicide with the same weapon.
As the sources have indicated to Efe, there are no previous reports of abuse.
The murdered woman would be the third victim of sexist violence in Andalusia and number 12 in Spain in the year. The total number of women victims of sexist violence would amount to 1,045 since there are records.
