Earlier, the UK asked to transfer the former police officer Denis Konovalov to house arrest.
According to the lawyer of Igor Lyakhovets, the alleged organizer of the detention of Golunov, Konovalov pleaded guilty and said that the head Lyakhovets instructed him to plant drugs for the journalist.
Lyakhovets himself said that “moral and psychological pressure” was exerted on him.
