Four cases are now confirmed by the coronas center at the hotel H10 Costa Adeje Palace in Tenerife. It writes Spanish El Pais. All infected are Italian guests at the hotel. It was after an Italian doctor turned out to be infected that the entire hotel, with staff and guests, was quarantined.

Got a note under the door

The hotel has around 1,000 people, including at least two Swedes and an Åland family who described life in quarantine for SVT News on Wednesday. A few hours before the interview, the family had been informed of the quarantine via a note that was pushed under the room door.

- Then we haven't heard anything. There is not much you can do, but you might have hoped for some more information. We have not had any food and no drink, Ålander Thomas Strandvik told SVT News.

Nine cases in Spain in total

A total of 322 people in Italy have fallen ill, and 10 have died in the coronavirus suites. In Spain, nine people have now become ill - most recently a woman in Barcelona and a man in the Valencia region.
