According to the Turkish leader, the main problem that Turkey faced in Idlib is the use of Syrian airspace.

“At the moment, the biggest problem for the actions of the Turkish Armed Forces in Syria is the inability to use airspace. We hope that in the near future we will solve this issue, ”he said.

He also noted that the date and venue of the meeting on Idlib were agreed, negotiations will be held on March 5 in Istanbul, but the format of such a meeting is currently being discussed.

Earlier in Turkey, they stated that they did not intend to abandon observation posts in the de-escalation zone in Idlib.

In early February, Erdogan called on the Syrian government to withdraw its military outside the Turkish observation posts.
