February 26, 2020 The coronavirus epidemic extends to countries close to Italy: to compatriots on holiday or working abroad, originating from Northern Italy, and people who have been there recently. Here are the cases.

Spain, a thousand tourists quarantined in Tenerife
An Italian doctor and his wife, on vacation in Tenerife in the Balearic islands, were tested positive and put into solitary confinement. A thousand people were quarantined in the H10 Costa Adejie Palace hotel, in the town of Adejie, where the Italian doctor was staying with his wife. Diario de Avisos writes it. Military and law enforcement officers prevent people in the hotel from leaving, as well as external staff from entering the tourist complex. Thus the cases in Spain rise to seven. Among them the first coronavirus case confirmed in Madrid. It is a 24 year old boy who has traveled to Northern Italy. The Spanish media report it. The young man, who tested positive for the virus, was taken to the Carlos III hospital, where a specialized isolation unit is located.

Austria, hotel reopens in Innsbruck after contagion from 2 Italians
Two Italians tested positive for coronavirus in Tyrol; both 24 years old, originate from Lombardy and live in Innsbruck. According to the authorities, they currently have a fever and are not life threatening. The Grande Hotel Europa in Innsbruck has been reopened. The accommodation facility in the capital of Tyrol was evacuated yesterday afternoon for an imposing health operation dictated by the fact that the young 24-year-old Italian, found positive at Covid-19, worked inside as a receptionist. 62 people were tested, all in good health, but nine of them were placed in quarantine because they had been in close contact with the woman who lives and works in Innsbruck.

France, an infected returning from Lombardy
Two new people tested positive for the new coronavirus in France. The first is a Chinese woman who has returned from China, the other case is a Frenchman returning from a trip to Lombardy.

Switzerland
First case, in the Canton of Ticino; it is a 70-year-old man who was infected in the Milan area during a demonstration.

Croatia
Premier Andrej Plenkovic has confirmed that a young Croatian is the contagion recorded in the country and in all the Balkans. The young man, showing mild symptoms, had been to Milan last week.
