It was a witness who noticed the merry-go-round and alerted the police on Sunday around 9 p.m. in the Barrière-de-Paris district, north of Toulouse. Three people had broken into a food wholesaler.

During their arrest, these two men and this woman, aged 27, 29 and 31, were preparing to load their booty into a vehicle: a hundred bottles of Coca-Cola and 120 cans of other drinks.

Left free with a criminal order

The trio was left free with a criminal order after police custody. To explain the attempted theft, the young people curiously told the investigators that they thought the drinks were expired…
