Elderly contacts are aimed at pensioners who are 75 years of age, still living at home, feeling lonely and wanting more social contacts. In Ann Strömberg's group, the youngest is 83 and the oldest is 95.
- I have been a volunteer for almost two years and the most fun has been getting to know all people, says Ann Strömberg.
Although the group only meets once a month, they keep in close contact with each other by telephone. Especially if someone in the group has been on a trip or been a little bit scratchy lately.
- It is a security group and it can feel reassuring to have phone numbers to each other, Ann Strömberg says happily.
