Little fright this Tuesday for the passengers of an Air Canada Airbus A319, which connected New York to Toronto (Canada). At take-off, the plane lost a wheel, reports Air-Journal relayed by Capital .

The incident did not prevent the aircraft from climbing into the air to reach its destination without further problems. It was therefore with one less wheel that the pilot landed the Airbus in Toronto. Rescue means were deployed along the runway to prepare for any accident. However, the pilot was able to land the aircraft without incident.

Another Canadian aircraft experienced a similar mishap on January 3. While taking off from Montreal, an Air Canada Express Dash 8-300 had lost a wheel from the landing gear, recalls Air-Journal . The pilot then decided to turn around, bringing the 49 passengers and three crew members to Montreal.
