The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, issued royal orders today to dismiss the Minister of Information, Turki Al-Shabana, from his position, to exempt the Minister of Civil Service Suleiman bin Abdullah Al-Hamdan from his position, and to exempt Ibrahim bin Abdul Rahman Al-Omar, Governor of the General Investment Authority.

According to the royal orders, according to the Saudi Press Agency, "SPA", Dr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Qasabi, Minister of Commerce, was assigned to do the work of the Minister of Information in addition to his work, and Majid bin Abdullah bin Hamad Al-Hugail, the Minister of Housing, was assigned to do the work of the Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs in addition to his work.

He issued a royal order to include the Ministry of Civil Service in the Ministry of Labor and Social Development and to amend its name to be the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development, to convert the General Investment Authority into a ministry in the name of the Ministry of Investment, and to appoint Khaled Al-Falih as its minister.

He also issued a royal order to convert the General Authority of Sports into a ministry in the name of the Ministry of Sports, and to appoint Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki bin Faisal as Minister of Sports.

A royal order was issued to convert the Tourism Authority into a ministry, and Ahmed Al-Khatib was appointed as its minister.

Among the orders of King Salman are the appointment of Mounir bin Mahmoud bin Ibrahim Al-Desouqi as Assistant to the Minister of Communications and Information Technology at the excellent level, and the appointment of Muhammad bin Abdullah bin Saleh Al-Mudhad as Deputy Secretary-General of the Council of Ministers at the excellent rank.
