“Indeed, not everything has been done: of the 38 tasks that were set for this year, 26 were completed, the rest are not,” the Russian leader said in an interview with TASS for the project “20 Questions to Vladimir Putin.”

The president also agreed that the Russians “really didn’t feel in some way” the positive effect of national projects.

He noted that "it is important not that people know (about national projects. - RT ), but that they really feel on themselves (improvements. - RT )."

Earlier, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin called for strict observance of the funding schedule for national projects. He added that any delay in the deadlines would be considered unacceptable.

Mishustin called the decision to transfer unused funds from 2019 to 2020 exceptional. According to him, an information-analytical system will be created in Russia to track the implementation of national projects.

At the end of January, Mishustin ordered an audit of the work done to implement national projects.
