Guest of the Europe 1 morning show, Anne Hidalgo looks back at her record of cleanliness. With less than a month to go before the first round of the municipal elections, the current mayor of Paris and candidate for his succession believes that there needs to be a "burst of civility", and praises the work of municipal officials.

Cleanliness is one of the themes that most concern the French for municipal. And while the French capital received the inglorious title of "the dirtiest city in Europe" in the English newspaper The Guardian, Anne Hidalgo, current mayor of Paris and candidate for his succession, returned to his balance sheet. At the microphone of Europe 1, she says that "Paris is a clean city", with 550 million euros invested in cleanliness each year. Anne Hidalgo explains that during her next mandate, one billion euros per year will be invested to clean the streets of the capital, but also calls for "a burst of civility".
