At 02 am the night before Tuesday, the police receive a call that there was something criminal in an apartment in Bålsta. When they get there, they find a man who is suspected of being detained against his will. There are also three other men arrested in the apartment. They are suspected of holding the man in the apartment in connection with an extortion case. The apartment also has a modified starter gun and other attachments.
"He was not allowed to leave the apartment," says Fabian Hamnqvist, press officer RLC Mitt.
How is the man deprived of liberty?
- There is no indication of the injury situation as far as I can see. But there is a report of abuse and in connection with the incident, the plaintiff should have received some form of violence, says Fabian Hamnqvist.
A preliminary investigation is now underway and the three arrested men are suspected of unlawful imprisonment, unlawful threats, serious weapons crime, assault and blackmail. Everyone involved is known by the police before.
