The reason is a reduced interest in the aesthetic profiles in high school and that it is therefore difficult for a sufficiently large student base to cover the costs of the school.
- We are pleased with the solution and happy that the municipality will continue the school in principle in the same form as before, says Sara Qvarnström, principal at Björkö Fria Gymnasium in a press release.
According to Linköping Municipality, all students retain their places of study and most are not affected by the transition.
