During the trial, the defendant disappeared and was put on the international wanted list. After being detained outside the Russian Federation, he was extradited to his homeland.
“The court sentenced the convict to 9 years of imprisonment in a penal colony with a fine of 5 million rubles. In addition, he is deprived of the right to hold positions in the public service for 5 years, ”the department writes.
