According to him, the Meleuzovsky sugar factory in Bashkiria, the Nurlat sugar factory in Tatarstan and the Tovarkovsky sugar factory in the Tula region are at risk.
It is specified that Russian large sugar producers Prodimeks and Agro-invest have already announced plans to temporarily suspend production at their enterprises.
Earlier it was reported a significant decrease in sugar prices in Russia amid rising world prices for this product.
