“It follows from the advertisement that the Arbidol drug has therapeutic efficacy against a new type of infection caused by the new coronavirus, which thousands of people have now become victims of,” the report says.
According to the data of the Scientific Center for Expertise in Medical Use of the Ministry of Health of Russia, provided at the request of the Federal Antimonopoly Service, the instructions for Arbidol do not contain information about its use against the infectious disease caused by the new coronavirus.
Earlier it was reported that the FAS will check the advertising of Arbidol, which spoke about the effectiveness of the drug in the fight against coronaviruses.
