The US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has upgraded its travel alerts to Korea today to the highest level, three levels. In addition to countries that have been officially banned, such as Israel and Hong Kong, there are also occasional segregation of our travelers, such as Mauritius and Vietnam.

Corona 19 was widely spread in the Korean community, and the travel alert, which was originally in the second stage, was raised to the third stage of 'warning'.

I didn't ban the trip itself, but I advised him to refrain from unnecessary travel.

However, the US State Department still maintains two levels of travel alerts.

Currently, Korean visitors are banned from entry into six countries, including Hong Kong, Kiribati, Samoa, Bahrain, Jordan, and Israel, and one region, American Samoa.

Ten countries have strengthened their entry procedures, including quarantine and quarantine.

However, there have been cases of quarantining our travelers before official notifications, such as Vietnam and Mauritius, and in fact, nearly 20 countries have entered or banned restrictions.

The government is committed to ensuring that quarantine is not at least excessive, even if it is the sovereignty of each country.

In this context, at about 4 pm today, we decided to call a diplomatic corps, including US Embassy officials, to explain the government's defense measures.
