Several reports over the past few weeks have been about barren land in the Vasalopp trail and it has rained and been mild weather. Last week, the organization announced that they were still having problems on the route between Sälen and Oxberg, and wanted to wait for a message about the long runs.

But now it has become colder and everything points to a Vasa race on Sunday as planned, with five days left to start.

At the start of Vasaloppet 45 during Tuesday morning, Vasaloppet sports manager Tommy Höglund announced that it feels good for Sunday, although there is some work left.
