Weihai City authorities in Shandong quarantined all passengers who arrived on Jeju Air from Incheon today (25th) to a designated location.

There are 167 passengers, 144 Chinese including 19 Koreans and four other nationalities.

This is the first time that all passengers departing from Korea have been quarantined in China.

The city officials said passengers would be quarantined for 14 days at hotels, but our consulate said they had requested two or three days to shorten the quarantine period.

Yancheng Korean Territory has allowed passengers from Korea to use separate passages and quarantine their homes for two weeks.
