25 February 202014.28 The entire scientific committee of the Uffizi Museum in Florence has resigned, in controversy with the director Schmidt on the loan of a work by Raphael. The portrait of Leo X was loaned to the great exhibition on Raffello which opens in Rome on the 500th anniversary of the artist's death. Among the 200 works at the Scuderie del Quirinale also Leo X, which Schmidt defines as "indispensable" for the Roman exhibition project .
