"The world is not prepared to cope with the spread of the Corona virus," said the head of the World Health Organization's mission to China, Bruce Aylord, and US Secretary of Health Alexis Azar acknowledged that his country 's muzzle stocks "are not enough to cope with the outbreak" of the virus.

"We are not prepared, as we must be, psychologically or materially ... You have to be prepared to deal with the virus on a broader scale and this must happen quickly," Aylord, returning from China, told reporters at the WHO headquarters in Geneva.

The mission visited several Chinese cities and regions, including Wuhan, the epicenter of the "Covid-19" virus epidemic, to study its developments and effects.

The expert welcomed what China was doing to contain the epidemic. "The team unanimously assessed that they changed the course of the virus ... it is amazing," he said.

"If I catch Covid-19 virus, I would like to be treated in China," he said, referring to the efforts of this country to equip existing hospitals and build new ones, adding that "China knows how to keep people living with Coronavirus alive," calling on the rest of the international community to prepare more.
