Italian Prime Minister Giuseppe Conti announced that the cause of the emergence of one of the new Corona virus hotspots in northern Italy is a non-standard management of "a hospital".

"One of the disease hotspots in the north of the country is linked to a hospital that did not respect the standards," Conte said in response to a question during a television interview, without specifying the name of the hospital.

After imposing a quarantine on 11 towns in the north of the country, that is, isolating more than 50,000 people, Italy became the first European country to take strict measures to contain the Covid-19 epidemic.

According to the latest statistics of the Italian Ministry of Health, 229 cases of the virus have been confirmed, most of them in Lombardy (172 cases) and neighboring Veneto (32 cases).
Yesterday, the Italian authorities announced the death of the seventh case of the new Corona virus in the country.
