The movie "Good Will Huntingting" was a huge artistic and mass success at the time. On the one hand, the film made a profit of $ 225.9 million out of a total budget that did not exceed $ 10 million. On the other hand, the film was able to withstand the 88th place in the list of "IMDB" art for the best 250 films in the history of world cinema, despite the passage of all those years.

The last duel
"The Last Duel" is based on a novel by the same name written by Eric Jagger, released in 2004, and its events tell a true story that took place in 1386 in France, and deals with the last duel that was officially approved to death.

This duel took place between two knights: Jean de Carouge and Jacques Le Grace after one of them was accused of rape of the other's wife during his absence due to the war, and because there is no conclusive evidence to prove or deny the charge, the judgment is left in the hands of the God who will alone decide which one will die and which one will survive after the fighting.

Damon began filming his role last week, and Affleck is supposed to start this week, but he stated his tension a little during an interview with him, "Entertainment Tonight" two days ago, and attributed this tension because he did not present any work before belonging to the Middle Ages; where shields, swords and things Like that, which makes him not know how to spill while on acting.

Will the bet succeed?
The return of Damon and Affleck together is not the only bright spot the audience is betting on in this work. Besides writing the script and the dialogue and assigning the movie championship to them, Adam Driver who nominated for this year's Oscar for his role in the movie "Marriage Story", and star Judy Kummer, will co-star.

While it will be directed by the genius Ridley Scott, who has been nominated for an Academy Award four times so far. All of the above raised the ceiling of expectations that everyone set about work, including the industry itself.

It is expected that "the last duel" will be shown on some big screens in a limited manner to coincide with the birthdays on December 25, 2020, and that it will be displayed extensively in all halls after that starting January 8, 2021.

It is noteworthy that Ben Affleck presented him two days ago with the movie "The Last Thing He Wanted" on the Netflix screen, and co-starring Anna Hathaway participated in it, and will also be shown to him on the first of next March via the same network, a sports drama movie entitled " The Way Back.

Matt Damon - in addition to his movie with Affleck - will not be screened for him except for another work this year in November 2020, titled "Still Water", a drama belonging to the category of psychological excitement, and co-starred with young star Abigail Perslin.
