US President Donald Trump has said that America will always be a loyal friend of India.

Trump and his wife, Melania, arrived in India, yesterday, for a two-day visit.

Trump met at the airport in Ahmedabad yesterday, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

"The relationship between America and India is not only a relationship, but a comprehensive and full partnership," Moody said, speaking at the beginning of his talk with the cricket stadium.

In his speech, Trump described Modi as a good friend. "He is a wonderful leader, everyone loves him, but he is very firm," he said.

He added that India gives hope to the whole of humanity.

"Melania and I have traveled 8,000 miles around the world, to deliver a message that America loves and respects India," he said.

"We are working to reach a comprehensive trade agreement between India and the United States of America, for the benefit of the two countries," Trump said. "India is a very big market for American exports, and America is the largest market for India's exports, so a strong America is a good thing for India."

"We will soon reach a major trade agreement, which is being negotiated with Prime Minister Modi, and he is a very determined negotiator," he added.

Trump pledged to strengthen trade relations between America and India, and said that America was ready to supply India with defense equipment, including drones, helicopters, and defense systems.

Moody Trump and his wife, Melania, escorted on a tour of Mahatma Gandhi's main headquarters known as the "Ashram Sabarmati", where Modi gifted Trump the famous three monkey statues, known as the "Three Wise Wise".
