“The Ambassador of Serbia to Ukraine Atsu Jovanovic was invited to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, he was deeply concerned about the fact that the name and symbols of the so-called Republic of Crimea were placed on the Russian stand at the International Tourism Fair in Belgrade,” a press statement said services of the Ukrainian department.

Diplomats noted the “inadmissibility” of such actions and urged not to allow such cases in the future.

In December, the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry called the Serbian ambassador to protest in connection with the visit of representatives of the Crimean administration to Serbia.

Crimea became the Russian region after a referendum held there in March 2014, in which most residents spoke out for reunification with Russia.
