The US State Department and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention have upgraded their travel alerts to Korea in two stages with Japan.

Taiwan, which issued “Caution” during Phase 1 of the three phases of travel alerts, raised the level to “Level 2” again.

The United Kingdom and Singapore have recommended refraining from travel in the Daegu and Qingdao provinces, where spectators are concentrated.
