Over 800 flights have been affected by the sandstorm that swept over the Canary Islands over the weekend.
The airports of Gran Canaria and Tenerife were closed down, but have now been reopened.
Tens of thousands of travelers have been affected and the airport will resume air traffic but limited capacity, Aena writes.
Travelers are urged to check flight status directly with the airlines, the airport operator writes on Twitter.
