WHO: Most of the cases of corona are expected to be cured and 2% are subject to death

The World Health Organization said that 80% of people with corona are expected to recover, 20% in critical condition, and 2% of them are at risk of death. The number of deaths from the virus in China has risen to 109 during the past 24 hours.

The total death toll in China exceeded 2,300 people, and health authorities in Hubei Province announced the registration of 400 new cases of the virus, bringing the total number of infections to more than 76,000.

The World Health Organization warned that the opportunity to contain the virus in the world is shrinking, especially in light of recording new infections and deaths in Iran, stressing the need for countries to move quickly to control the spread of the epidemic.

For its part, South Korea announced the registration of 87 new infections with the Coruna virus, bringing the number of infections in the country to 433 cases.

The Japanese Ministry of Health announced that the final number of people infected with the virus on the cruise ship "Diamond Princess" reached 634 people.

At a time when foreign countries evacuated about a thousand of their nationals, the Japanese health authorities continue to disembark about one thousand of the ship's passengers, with about 300 others remaining, who will later be transferred to government facilities to spend two weeks of quarantine due to their contact with the injured.

Corona has more than 100 injuries in Japan, with new cases emerging in different parts of the country.

In Lebanon, Minister of Health Hamad Hassan announced the first registration of HIV infection, and said during a press conference in Beirut that the case of a woman who was coming from the Iranian city of Qom and is currently undergoing medical isolation.

Hassan pointed out that the medical authorities suspected two cases of coronary infection, both from Iran.

In the same context, Iranian television said today, Saturday, that an Iranian official was confirmed to be infected with the Corona virus.

The television said that the mayor of District 13 in the capital, Tehran, Mortada Rahman Rahmanzadeh, was taken to the hospital with symptoms of Corona virus on Friday.
