The conference on “Unmanned Systems, Simulation and Training” exhibitions “Yumex and Simtex 2020” was held in Abu Dhabi, under the slogan “harmonizing between unmanned and unmanned systems in the era of smart systems”.

The conference provides attendees and participating speakers an opportunity to explore and develop a deeper understanding of the difficult challenges facing humanity today.

The conference discussed the most innovative solutions to the challenges, and ways to foresee the future in a world where scientific developments and innovations are accelerating, and where dependence on unmanned systems and artificial intelligence is increasing.

He also touched on the latest scientific and technological developments in these fields, as well as creating an ideal platform for sharing and exchanging best practices followed and always evolving.

“One of the most prominent features of the era of artificial intelligence and digital technology, which in turn has produced the Fourth Industrial Revolution, is that it has brought about a breakthrough in technological development and accelerated the pace of change in human lives,” said Minister of State for Defense Affairs, Muhammad bin Ahmed Al Bowardi.

He added, "The machines and inventions were almost out of human control, so the challenges increased, and the fears of the technology breaking out of their minds, their uses became a double-edged sword."

He emphasized that "what we need today is to define the role of the human being in his interaction with these machines and systems of all kinds, especially in light of the increasing uses of artificial intelligence, and here comes the importance of your anticipation of the human role and its interaction with these systems, machines and technologies, by establishing controls, laws and regulations of use."

The conference attracted a group of international experts, academicians and thought leaders to exchange views and explore the challenges and opportunities that have emerged as a result of artificial intelligence and the fourth industrial revolution.

The conference activities covered issues such as organizing training courses, renewing simulation systems and educating future generations and urging them to keep abreast of developments in technologies. The discussion sessions highlighted aspects of compatibility between unmanned and unmanned systems in the era of smart systems, as well as border security in the digital world.
