According to an Ifop-Fiducial poll for "JDD" and "Sud Radio", Anne Hidalgo continues to race ahead with the voting intentions for the first round of municipal elections in Paris (24%), while her direct rival Rachida Dati gains 3 points (at 22%) in one month. But the surprise comes from LREM and Agnès Buzyn at 22% who does better than her predecessor, Benjamin Griveaux, who was at 15%.

With less than a month to go before the municipal elections, Anne Hidalgo remains at the head of the voting intentions for the mayor of Paris. According to an Ifop-Fiducial poll for the JDD and Sud Radio * released this Sunday, the socialist councilor collected 24% of the votes for the first round. A score down 1%, in the margin of error, compared to the last survey in January. For her part, candidate LR and former minister Rachida Dati ranks second with 22% of the vote, plus 3 points.

Buzyn does better than Griveaux

But the surprise of this poll comes from the majority camp, since Agnes Buzyn harvested 22% of the voting intentions for the first round of March 15. A week after replacing Benjamin Griveaux at short notice, urged to throw in the towel by broadcasting a sexual video, the former Minister of Health and Solidarity is doing better than the deposed Parisian champion of the majority. The new challenger for the Parisian armchair collects 4 points more than its predecessor, and finds itself in third position three points behind Rachida Dati.

Hidalgo leads in second round

This new survey therefore confirms the current mayor of Paris who continues to lead the race. This leadership is also confirmed in the event of a second round. The PS representative would then obtain 38% (-3%) of the votes in the event of an alliance with the EELV candidate David Belliard. A score sufficient to face the 30% of Rachida Dati and the 21% of the votes of Agnès Buzyn - who would once again do better than Benjamin Griveaux.

* The survey was conducted with a sample of 1,078 people, representative of the Parisian population aged 18 and over.
