Kluge (WHO), contagions are a mystery in Italy

Ricciardi, arrivals from China had to be isolated
"We pay for the fact that we did not immediately quarantine the landings from China. THE EXTRAORDINARY MEASURES OF THE GOVERNMENT
Prohibition of removal and entry into the 'outbreak' areas of the virus, which will be manned by the police and, if necessary, also by the military, with criminal sanctions for those who violate the prescriptions. The government has launched extraordinary measures to contain coronavirus in Italy. The ban is imposed on school trips in Italy and abroad but also for public events. Schools, shops and museums will be closed, competitions will stop, private work activities and public offices, without prejudice to essential services, limitation on the movement of goods and people.

First effects of the CDM rules, skip students' trip
"The vice-principal warned us this morning, don't go." The first effects of the government's provisions to deal with the coronavirus emergency: the bus that was supposed to bring 30 students from the Umberto I boarding school in Turin to Madonna di Campiglio, the destination chosen for the trip on the snow of the Christmas holidays, was stopped. "We had an appointment in Piazza Arbarello, but they informed us before the trip is no longer done," explains the mother of a student. The party consisted of sixty people in all: with the thirty students, of all classes, there were in fact also thirty adult escorts. "Everything was ready, my daughter started to cry - the mother still tells - We regretted it, but rightly so: we must take precautions, health comes first of all, especially that of children ...".

SPORT IN VENETO AND LOMBARDIA STOPS
It will be a different Sunday today in Lombardy and Veneto. The government has canceled all sporting events in the two regions affected by coronavirus including the three Serie A matches between Inter-Sampdoria, Atalanta-Sassuolo and Verona-Cagliari. The decision came at the end of the Council of Ministers, which closed a feverish day that had already seen, from a sporting perspective, the announcement of the postponement of Ascoli-Cremonese, a race valid for the 25th day of Serie B.
