"We were so lucky because we were probably the only flight that got away from the airport in Faro (Portugal) last night," says Bertil Wallin.

He talks about other planes that were emptied of passengers who were then allowed to spend the night at the flight terminal. It was just a haircut from the same fate that struck Bertil Wallin and his fellow passengers.

- We also had to leave the plane, but when almost all passengers took their seats on the terminal bus, the cabin crew came and said that we would go back to the plane again. But I saw other planes all around that didn't come off. As I understand it, the air traffic management in Copenhagen had worked as just the one for us to get away.

Seven hours late, Bertil and his wife now hope that the weather in normally sunny Puerto Rico will improve during the day.

- It sounds like Satan here. It is not clear and sunny as one had hoped. It's hazy and it's probably this sand that drives in, I guess. It doesn't look like there will be any boardwalk today because it blows small nails here, concludes Bertil Wallin.
