A Canadair at the scene of the disaster, near Valleraugue, this Sunday - SDIS 30

Between 20 and 25 hectares of vegetation went up in smoke, this Sunday, near the town of Valleraugue, in the Gard, we learned from the firefighters.

It is an eco-cloud, a process which consists in burning plants, which is at the origin of the disaster, according to the Departmental Fire and Rescue Service.

Two Canadairs

The jamming would have escaped the control of an owner.

At the end of the afternoon, about sixty fire soldiers were still at work trying to contain this fire, supported by two Canadairs. There are no casualties.
