At 7.10am the alarm came to the police about a man found injured in Knislinge by passersby. The injuries are believed to have been caused by a sharp object.
Police patrols have been dispatched to the scene and an apartment where the crime is suspected to have taken place is blocked off. Forensic technicians are on their way to the site of a technical investigation.
"We are talking to residents and neighbors right now to get a clear picture of what has happened," said Jimmy Modin, press spokesman for the poilis.
There is currently no arrest or suspicion of the crime that is currently classified as abuse.
