As explained by Kalashnikov, all compatriots living abroad will have the right to obtain Russian citizenship without renouncing foreign citizenship.

According to him, the list includes countries where the largest number of compatriots live.

Earlier, Kalashnikov spoke about a government bill to simplify the acquisition of Russian citizenship. The initiative provides relief for residents of Ukraine, Belarus, Moldova and Kazakhstan.
