The result of a so-called small forensic psychiatric examination shows that the man at the time of the murder may have suffered from a serious mental disorder, reports P4 Halland.
The woman made an alarm to police on Christmas Day evening that she had been threatened by a man, but the cops who visited her never made any report. Later that night, she was shot to death by the man, who himself called the police and told him what he had done.
In parallel with the murder investigation, therefore, a preliminary investigation into service errors has been started around the police's actions hours before the murder.
