According to experts, for extreme tourism, Kamchatka is most suitable, where such varieties of skiing are available as freeride and heli-skiing, and for snowboarders - heli-boarding (throwing a mountain from a helicopter and subsequent descent), there are difficult slopes on the slopes volcanoes and hills.

In addition, surfing is available in Kamchatka year-round, but in the cold seasons this will require additional equipment, specified in the Federal Tourism Agency.

Also for extreme tourism Crimea is suitable. Experts note that there are many places on the peninsula for mountain extreme sports - rope jumping (rope jumping from tall objects), zipline (downhill on a steel rope), skyline (walking on a stretched line).

In addition, the Federal Tourism Agency reminded that in the Crimea you can go kayaking (downhill on mountain rivers), as well as water sports such as windsurfing, wakeboarding and diving.

For polar tourism, experts advise visiting Yamal. In particular, they recommend a route through the Rai Is mountain range, which is also suitable for unprepared tourists. In addition, ethnographic tourism is widespread here, including accommodation in a camp along with the indigenous population of the region.

Another region that experts recommend visiting is Khakassia. Here they recommend the amusement park "Mramorka" on the basis of the largest marble cliff in Russia, where mountain climbing routes of varying complexity are laid. They also advise to try a drift on bicycles on the ice of the Sayano-Shushensky reservoir and freeride in the resort in the village of Priiskovoye.

Experts also note the Republic of Altai. There is the first bike park beyond the Urals, where there are 11 km of tracks for extreme cycling. Also, mountaineering is developed in the region (on the North Chuysky ridge) and rafting on mountain rivers of different difficulty levels (along the Chuya and Katun rivers).

The Federal Tourism Agency also noted that these places can be visited during the long weekend associated with the celebration of February 23 and March 8.

Earlier, RT reported with reference to analysts of the Internet service Biletix about the reduction of prices for airline tickets in Russia in the spring of 2020.
